The Days of the Rose in Kazanlak
The region of Kazanlak is famous for growing its world recognized oil-bearing rose. Formal celebrations, acknowledging the rose as the symbol of the region, began in 1903, and now take place annually during the first weekend in June.

Baga-tur / Proto-Bulgarian Survival School
Baga-tur is a youth organization, a school and a movement intent on restoring and promoting ancient Bulgarian’ values. The school was established in 2000 by Raycho Ganchev. Today the program attracts hundreds of young people who train, study and obtain degrees in training hierarchy and then, in turn, teach others the principles of Baga-tur.
